  Best of Show-Social Media Impromptu California Association of Public Information Officials (CAPIO) May 2024 This video was taken during a series of drenching storms that hit the Sacramento region in January of 2023. Rain runoff pushed the Sacramento River levels to near flood stage, and residents were concerned about their safety. We wanted to show the high water, while assuring residents that, while it looked dangerous, the forecast called for rain to diminish and river levels to recede.
