  Under Secretary General (USG) of Research for BMUN’s 67th session (2019): the USG of Research is a senior held officer position and is vitally important to our annual conference. Specifically, the USG of Research is in charge of interviewing and selecting head chairs, UN committees, and the topics that will be discussed. Further, the USG of Research directs our research paper writing process, known as a Topic Synopsis, and manages 22 head chairs in the creation of these detailed, 80 page guides for the conference. In this management process, the USG of Research also must be very advanced in using spreadsheets and Excel programming and is responsible for teaching these skills to our 100 person club.Head Chair of the United Nations Environmental Program (2019): For BMUN’s 67th sessions, the UNEP will be discussing, debating, and creating mock UN resolutions for Accessibility to Clean Water and Animal Poaching and the Black Market. For this committee, the Head Chair writes an 80 page detailed synopsis of these topics over the course of a year that is published and utilized by several hundred delegates in the coming and future years. When conference comes, the Head Chair guides debate by moderating and teaching about the topics selected in order to produce technical and comprehensive solutions. Show less

  Works with a group of engineering students at UC Berkeley to provide clean, sustainable water supplies for developing communities around the world. Specifically, have worked on the Panama team project on developing three different water tank sites and their designs for implementation by using various programs such as AutoCAD, Geographic Information System (GIS) Mapping Technology, EPANET, and various Microsoft Office Programs.
