  Activities and Societies: Other political activities include political campaigns, lobbying, support for political causes (such as volunteering for a political party), signing a petition, participation in protests and demonstrations, attending a political rally, and contacting a mass media source and/or a politician The students of the department enthusiastically participate in the district level competition of Youth Parliament. In 2019, they participated in it, organized at West Bengal State University. They confidently performed in their best possible way and were highly appreciated for their performance.
