This diverse exposure both emphasized and supplemented my classroom education.The opportunities at USF allowed me to become one of 10 student-scholars in the 2015-2016 academic year to participate in a specialized grant from the Department of Education that focuses on working with children who are bilingual and deaf or hard of hearing.
