The I&E basics courses provided me a solid… Show more The programme in Digital Media Technology focuses on enabling technologies for digital media systems, including technologies for analyzing and generating interactive media, processing and coding, and distributing digital 3D contents.I studied my first year in KTH with basic technical courses on signal processing, computer graphics, visualization etc. An important part of the programme is the Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) aspect. The I&E basics courses provided me a solid understanding of business and management. The Business Development Lab extended media systems engineering projects by a market survey, a business model generation process, and a venture development exercise. I emphasized in user-driven innovation and holistic analysis of service, technology, organization and financial perspectives, as new media technologies are disruptive for existing business models and almost always have a significant impact on the culture and social relations.
