  As a Senior Manager, Content, I spearheaded content strategy and created two major learning products from conception to launch.For a synchronous small-group English language learning project, I led research and strategy efforts for grades 1-4, implementing curriculum and learning journey prototypes for large-scale beta testing of the product. As the learning and experience director for the BYJU’S Learning ft. Disney application, I led creative content strategy and innovation efforts for the product. I built and mentored a team of narrative writers that grew from 3 to 75 over a span of 4 years. My team and I did extensive world-building, character and narrative design, and created over 1500 learning videos, games, and interactive tangible play worksheets. Additionally, I was the editorial liaison for educational content created in collaboration with the Disney Publishing Worldwide team. This entailed conducting extensive media research for Disney and other contemporary children’s media, and applying a diversity, equity, and inclusivity lens to the organization’s content design.   MindHive is a neuroscience citizen science platform bringing together students, teachers, and scientists. The goal of the platform is to contribute to a healthy science ecosystem, engaging users in the full range of scientific inquiry, that is, the making of science. As part of my duties there, I conduct qualitative UX and educational research with high school students learning scientific inquiry to recommend instructional improvements to program materials and the platform, and publish efficacy results.
