In September 2012, became responsible for managing the Large Corporate business at country level, heading a team based in both Lisbon and Porto Joined as Head of Large Corporate North reporting to the Country Executive Committee and leading the team targeting the Large Corporate clients. The ambition was to expand the business and to be able to compete with the main Local Banks by leveraging Barclays strong brand recognition and product capabilities - both local and international - with a special focus on structured and trade finance, risk solutions and cash-management.
