Preparation of samples on demand using molecular beam epitaxy and/or physical vapour deposition in ultra high vacuum. Measurements using cryogenic electron transport methods. Repairs and general upkeep of our cleanroom facilities, cryogenic measurement apparatus and high vacuum deposition equipment. Marking of Phys 115 assignments.

  PhD Student

  My PhD involved planning and conducting research into semiconductor spintronic devices. Rare earth nitride samples were prepared using molecular beam epitaxy and/or physical vapour deposition in high vacuum. Devices were prepared using microfabrication methods and were studied using transport measurements at low temperatures and in high magnetic fields. General duties included upkeep of the lab, repairs and automation of experiments.

  We produce a low cost orbital launch vehicle catering to the small satellite market. I have been involved in the development of this launcher from the R&D phase, through launch operations and into serial production.I was also involved with the development and qualification of our Capstone Lunar spacecraft.My current focus is the development and qualification of Neutron, our next generation launch vehicle.
