      Conducted research for the International Security Programme, with a focus on British and European defence policy, political-military relations and international peacekeeping. Assisted with policy orientated consultancy work organisations including the US State Department and UK MoD. Coordinated the administration and organisation of an international conference on Naval Mine Warfare in conjunction with the Royal Navy and U.S. Naval War College.

      Lead Strategic/Operational Planner for European operations at the Army Special Operations Brigade. Managed a large portfolio of operational deployments to the High North, Baltics, Balkans and Caucuses in line with Defence operational and strategic objectives. Led and managed a military organisation of 140 personnel with specialist capabilities in intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance. Provided leadership, oversight and direction across all management and operational functions. Led an operational deployment to Iraq with responsibility for all operational outputs, risk management and stakeholder engagement. Responsible for all-source intelligence analysis and assessment within a Battle Group (c.1000 personnel). Led on the production of written intelligence summaries and products within strict deadlines. Delivered regular verbal briefings to senior officers across all areas of responsibility. Completed role specific training with the Defence Intelligence Training Group. Operations Manager within a UK military headquarters in a multi-national and multi-agency environment. Regular interaction with organisations including the UN, EU, African Union, FCDO and numerous international military partners. Led a team of 30 personnel on multiple overseas deployments, including: Latvia, Germany, Romania and Kenya. Responsible for the professional development, training, welfare and career management of all personnel. Instructed new recruits at the Infantry Training Centre, Catterick. Officer Cadet at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, which included specific training in Leadership, Management, War Studies, International Affairs, Defence Systems and Military Strategy/Tactics
