With many new applications and changing specifications I was very busy finding fixing and stock solutions to ensure my clients could complete on time and on budget.• Particular growth in housing building during this period has be exhilarating experience providing service solutions to companies that are being forced to massively increase in production without the extra resource that it takes. Partnering with them has allowed us to take away the hassle of small consumables so they can focus on what really makes the difference whilst still keeping full control of their costs and ensuring they do not go over budget. Show less Responsible for: • I was working primarily in the Hull and East Yorkshire geographical region wining business in all industries that Fixfirm operates.• My interest and experience in the modular/offsite manufacturing industry grew a lot in this time because of the large amount in this area.• During this time many new schools were being built in Hull such as Archbishop Sentamu Academy as part of the Building Schools for the Future programme. Once you learn the advantages of the best products out there it is amazing how much easier you can make a task for a client and this is a very rewarding experience.• I also experienced how the construction industry operates with our kind of product usually being thought of last and needing exceptional customer service to ensure projects do not overrun.• I built up a conscience of what buyers and operatives truly struggle with so that I could understand the detail of what was needed to be a really effective solution without them having to tell me everything.
