Jul 2013 - Jul 2013Vacation workerServo Motor Tester:A servo motor tester was designed using an Atmel ATmega32 micro-controller to test a servo motor's accuracy by sending different Pulse-Width-Modulated (PWM) signals of different duty cycles to the motor and recording the corresponding angle. The tester also provided information on an LCD-- Software:- Atmel Studio (Code done in C)-- Hardware:- Atmel Atmega32- 4x20 LCD- Servo Motor

Jul 2014 - Aug 2014Vacation workerPC-based Temperature Data Logger:This project consisted of two parts: an embedded side and a PC side. The embedded side comprised of a PIC micro-controller, a Bluetooth serial adapter and a temperature sensor. The micro-controller was coded using assembly language to convert the voltage detected from the temperature sensor to degrees Celsius which is then transmitted wirelessly to the PC using the Bluetooth serial adapter.A GUI application was designed, using Processing, on the PC receive data via Bluetooth and display the temperature on the GUI in an alcohol-like thermometer manner.-- Software:- MPLAB X (Code done in assemble language)- PC GUI using Processing PDE (Code done in Processing Language)-- Hardware:- Microchip PIC16F690 micro-controller- Bluetooth Serial Adapter- LM35 temperature sensor Show less
