      Worked 297 hours at NASA Stennis Space Center using remote sensing tools to analyze and compare the capabilities of VIIRS sensors to MODIS sensors with regard to forest disturbance products from the California Rim Fire Forest Disturbance and the Forest Tent Caterpillar Disturbance of MS & LA. MODIS sensors have survived well past their calculated lifespan and are due to be replaced, our studies are the first analysis recorded completed in preparation for this historic event.
