  Responsible for guiding, monitoring and overseeing the University's International Research Strategy development and implementation in partnership with Global Engagement and our Faculties and Institutes. Contribute to the delivery of the University’s international research agenda with a particular focus on Deakin's presence and success in India as well as other regions aligned to the International Research Strategy Providing Academic Leadership to the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment in Global Engagement. Responsible for developing and managing international partnerships in Learning and Teaching and Research; setting targets based upon discipline and countries; developing medium to long term Global engagement strategies; and managing student mobility. Responsible for the Civil Engineering disciplines by providing academic leadership in curriculum development, quality assurance, research and industry and institutional partnerships. Providing Academic Leadership to the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment in Global Engagement. Responsible for developing and managing international partnerships in Learning and Teaching and Research; setting targets based upon discipline and countries; developing medium to long term Global engagement strategies; and managing student mobility. Providing Academic and strategic Leadership to the School of Engineering. Responsible for all day-to-day operation of the School including Staff management, budget and resource allocation, ensuring teaching quality, external and internal program accreditaiton, occupational health and saftey of staff and students. Providing academic leadership to the Faculty in Geelong and Waurn Pond campuses. Responsible for student matters, internal and external partnerships, and setting course enrollment targets and resource allocation. Providing Academic and Strategic Leadership to the School of Engineering & Technology. Responsible for day-to-day operation, quality assurance in Teaching and Learning and Research performance, Staff management, budget and resource allocation, OH&S matters, setting short to medium term targets and work plans.
