  Gymnastics and tumbling instructor

  My job was to teach children from the ages of 2 to 18 on the basics of gymnastics and tumbling. My classes would last for 55 minutes each. Depending on the difficulty of the class, would depend on what we did at each station(bars, floor,beam, and trampoline). I learned how to lead a class, inform parents on their child's progress, and become confident in teaching something I am passionate about.

  I was the girl's youth intern this summer for Burnt Hickory Church of Christ. I planned weekly events and long trips for the teens that I worked with. I also taught lessons and worked with students, fellow church employees ,and parents.

  Summer youth intern

  In the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic summer, I was given the chance to work with the College Hills teenagers. We spent the summer coming up with creative, socially distanced activities that were community giving to the students. I created and taught devotionals, picked setlist, and made fun games to keep students engaged.

  Peer mentor

  Being a Peer Mentor in the College of Business is so rewarding! My role as a Peer Mentor is to help first semester freshmen get accustomed to college life at Tennessee Tech. I create fun videos teaching them about what is going on, on the campus around them. I introduce their discussion prompts, and help grade assignments. The first semester of college can be hard - so I enjoy help guiding them through that season.
