Duties included researching literature; co-writing interview and survey questions; conducting research interviews and summarizing interview recordings; coordinating meetings and focus groups.   I support users of Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) research identifiable files (RIFs), and execute internal research projects in collaboration with School of Public Health faculty and senior staff. Research is designed to improve understanding of complex healthcare datasets or of the healthcare system itself. My part in research typically includes building analytic files with large scale Medicare claim files. I conduct self-guided data analysis, and for more complex projects, follow the guidance of faculty and senior staff.
