      I was the Tele-Counseling Graduate Assistant. I oversee five student employees who called prospective students about upcoming events as well as following-up on their experience at a Kansas State University event. Some of my other duties as a Graduate Assistant included being a Co-Adviser for our student group Cat Crew, and helping out with different aspects of projects within the office. In this role I worked closely with the Coordinator of Orientation and Enrollment assisting on program implementation, evaluations, and departmental communications to serve over 5,000 students and guests. I planned and implemented the June Orientation and Enrollment Expo for 55 booth participants. In July I worked closely with the Coordinator of Events and Building Operations on projects and building upkeep in preparation for the start of the upcoming academic year. Correspond with faculty, professors, parents, and others when they had a concern about a student.Communicate with students and professors about verification of absences from class.Assist students and faculty when they came to office.Coordinate meetings between students and Deans.Perform secretarial duties such as: creating spreadsheets, word documents, files, and letters. Gathered and created a spreadsheet of Kansas High Schools providing Gay-Straight Alliance programs.Interacted with a group of unique and challenged students.Assisted in daily office events.       As a Senior Program Manager I continue to provide guidance and support to our current scholars that is growing to 200+ running active scholars in the next 5-years. I work directly with freshmen and sophomore cohorts, helping them through their transition from high school to college. Overseeing our community engagement I work to increase our programming initatives and resources to build community amongst our scholars and within our campus/local communities. I oversee the Campus Coordinator Program and provide support in executing 10+ annual events. I particpate in the scholarship review process of 700+ applicants a year and travel with coworkers to suprise our new Rudd Scholars. As a Senior Program Manager I have the opportunity as a leader to assist the Foundations strategic plans and growth, and provide assistance to program managers in their roles within the Rudd Foundation. Show less I had the privilege to be a Program Manager working to develop Rudd Scholar Alumni program and hold this role for the first year and a half at the Rudd Foundation. I was able to serve as a Success Coach to 110+ Rudd Scholars, working directly with freshmen and sophomore cohorts. I aided in the establishment of the Rudd Scholar Alumni Association and serve as liaison to our Alumni and Alumni Committees. My role overssaw the Campus Coordinator Program, Rudd Scholar Peer mentoring program, and provided support in executing 10+ annual events. I particpated in the scholarship review process of 500+ applicants a year and travel with coworkers to suprise our new cohort winners. I had the opportunity to tranition to work with our community engagement amongst the Rudd Scholars and was later promoted to Senior Program Manager. Show less
