In my current research, I employ ML algorithms and Grammatical Evolution (GE) to pioneer novel solutions for the automated design of digital circuits, focusing on enhancing their efficiency and precision with a broader aim of applying these advancements to diverse applications.My contributions to this project include:• Developed a self-adaptive ML algorithm for automated circuit design, achieving a 1.53X cost reduction and with enhanced early error detection.• Designed an adaptive test case selection with ML and optimization, added by rigorous statistical testing. Achieved a remarkable 14.3X improvement in time efficiency for data-driven learning algorithms tested on symbolic regression.• Implemented a problem-agnostic black-box test case optimization technique boosting the problem-solving efficiency of ML algorithms across domains from digital circuit to symbolic regression.• Proposed a fitness function incorporating test case diversity, accelerating evolution, demonstrated 16% faster convergence and 30% higher success rate compared to traditional fitness functions for complex circuits.• Contributed to the development of a robust test bench and an automated test case generation system,showcasing proficiency in testing methodologies and ensuring reliability standards.
