  As an Intern with the Shorebirds, I was able to get first-hand experience on daily tasks, and different nuances of working in minor league baseball. This internship was my first opportunity to work and interact with others in a professional business setting. I was able to learn how to interact with members of the community by completing tasks such as scheduling national anthem singers, making library appearances with our mascot, Sherman, and creating a fan survey for the month of July. Over the course of time that I spent with the Shorebirds, I was grateful to network, learn, and grow to develop in to the professional I aspire to be. Show less
