Our expeditions often extended up to a week, requiring unwavering dedication. My initial responsibilities revolved around meticulously grading fish and organizing bins, yet as my skills grew, my role expanded to the point where I was entrusted with piloting the vessel while the crew rested. My scope of duties encompassed:- Loading essential equipment onto the vessel and configuring it for optimal performance.- Meticulously sorting, grading, gutting, and expertly filleting fish, while ensuring appropriate storage of our catches.- Addressing minor equipment issues and conducting essential repairs, coupled with the upkeep and overall maintenance of the vessel.- Vigilantly standing lookout and diligently monitoring the engine room, upholding the safety and efficiency of our operations.
