  I researched with Dr. Sadayappan, and led developer efforts on redesigning research code from scratch as part of a NIH SBIR-Phase 2 Grant worth over a million dollars. The project was to automatically generate tiled PyTorch models from non-tiled ones, and my contributions greatly simplified the scope and difficulty of the task, along with greatly abstracting the code base. I was a Teaching Assistant for the second programming course undergraduates take (in Java) for one semester. I was then TA'd for a more advanced class that taught C++ and how to develop larger software projects as a team. As a TA for both classes, I was responsible for leading a weekly lab, along with grading and holding office hours. I tutored for the Kahlert School of Computing in most Freshman/Sophmore undergraduate computer science courses, along with a few Junior courses.
