On return I produced an extensive report of my observations and interpretations of the regional geology.• Pyrenean Structural and Sedimentology analysis - Observed thrust faults and structural formations resulting from the Pyrenean and Variscan Orogeny. Pieced the Sedimentology and structural data together to form a sequence of events that formed the basins south of the Pyrenean axial zone. Show less

      Constrained the tectonic evolution of the rift-related normal fault array within the Barrow Sub-basin using Petrel and Excel.• Identified faults through seismic interpretation of a cropped 332 km2 volume of high-resolution 3D seismic reflection data• Quantitatively analysed the throw distribution along the faults to determine where in the subsurface the faults nucleated.• Calculated sediment thickness changes to determine when the faults were active and for how long, helping to understand how the basin evolved through time.
