    • The Black Curriculum

      Nov 2021 - May 2022
      STEM Education Consultant

Audited, reviewed and consulted regarding primary and secondary school curricula. Wrote reports with sources for teachers about the areas where Black British history and Black history, in general, can be included within maths, biology, chemistry, and physics. I considered inclusivity in all areas of equality, such as gender, disability, as well as body appearance more generally and developmental stages that are often unexplored (menopause). This followed the decolonial praxis to ensure teaching engagement and content is inclusive and accessible to everyone. In that vein, I provided resources that ranged from auditory to visual such as podcasts and videos, in addition to articles and research/ pedagogic papers. Show less
