Last year the winning team was flown to Ecuador to implement their project in Monte Sinai, a community where more than 80% of women report being victims of some sort of domestic violence. The empowerment plan was about giving these women the technical skills required to gain economic independence and increase their competitivity to be able to enter the local job market.This initiative has been featured in numerous Hispanic, Anglophone, and Francophone publications and has been very well accepted by our audience.
