  Children's Minister

  I have served as a children's and youth minister for 19+ years. Over this time I have been a Children's Director, Youth Leader, Christian School director; VBS director, camp teacher and counselor, teacher trainer, and conference breakout speaker.I have developed a Children's Ministry program from the ground up, including but not limited to the creation and implementation of policies and procedures; oversight of budgeting and fundraising; curriculum development; volunteer recruitment and training; community outreach programs; special events like Vacation Bible School, Summer Fun Nights, Harvest Parties, Easter programs, and children's choirs; and served in the regular cleaning and rotational decorating of the Children's Ministry area.   Head of School

  Calvary Academy was a small, non-profit private school offering grades K-12. I stepped in as Head of School during its final two years, before it was closed down by its umbrella organization due to changes in leadership.Duties included but were not limited to: implementing policies and procedures; keeping records and submitting files to the state as required; ordering curriculum; conducting student assessments; financial planning, budgeting, fundraising, and keeping track of tuition payments; teaching and tutoring in all subjects as needed; teaching classes in both middle school math and California State History; conducting regular parent/teacher conferences; keeping records of student grades and conducting commencement ceremonies; working with students to develop goals and plans for continuing education; planning and implementing special events; and teaching weekly chapel sessions.
