      Crew Trainer

Day to day tasks included food handling, assembly line and taking instruction from my shift and restaurant manager. In my first leadership position in a workplace, I was promoted to Crew Trainer where I had added responsibilities and duties. In a position of leadership at a young age, it was in my best interest to lead and motivate my crew members on any shift I worked in order to achieve reach set targets, whether it would be daily, monthly, quarterly or annually. The most notable accomplishments in my position were completing one of the highest numbers of SOC'S (Station Observation Checklists) and motivating the team through numerous McHappy Day events.I was able to set goals, using the S.M.A.R.T method in ensuring that they were achievable and timely. I have continued to use this method throughout my leadership experiences. Through my time at McDonald's, I was able to receive stock, perform cash handling and engage and interact with customers for the first time, building my confidence. Show less

    • MYER

      Oct 2014 - Sept 2018
      Team Leader

In my role as Online Fulfilment Team Leader at Myer Highpoint, I managed the fulfilment or online sector of the business which covered all online purchases, returns, disputes and queries made by Myer online customers.Whilst employed, Myer Highpoint fulfilled the most units of any store in Australia (excluding Myer Melbourne and Myer Sydney). It was my responsibility to manage a team of 30 staff members and roster fortnightly using the rostering management system Kronos. I developed a quick understanding of the system and was able to use it expertly to change employee availabilities, monitor leave requests and gain an awareness in wage control.Day to day tasks included picking, packing and despatching orders, opening and closing the store, cash handling, liaising with internal and external stakeholders such as upper management, Australia Post, courier services, Staples and JMP stationary companies and Myer National Support Office and Retail Operations.During my tenure as Online Fulfilment Team Leader, I attended training days for further managerial development at Myer Head Office in Docklands and also attended management meetings and corporate meetings which saw me network with other employees at Myer at a state and national level.I also participated in weekly conference calls which was held by the General Manager of Myer for VIC/TAS, in which all stores from Myer VIC/TAS discussed weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual store metrics. In this position, the KPI's which needed to be achieved daily were picking success rate of 95% and a despatch duration time of 18 hours. These were measured daily, weekly, seasonally and annually and were benchmarked against all stores across Australia.Myer Highpoint was recognised consistently for finishing number 1 in the state and country on multiple occasions and were called out at numerous conference calls and meetings.I was also recognised as a Safety Committee Member and Shrinkage Committee Member Show less

      Jul 2018 - Aug 2019
      Storeman

In my role, day to day tasks vary depending on the situations in which arise and what is asked of me by my managers.Picking, packing and fulfilling customer orders is my general role, however it is not limited to this. I carry out tasks such as forklift driving, receiving and distributing incoming and outgoing goods, inventory management, stock handling and unloading freight containers.Having prior experience in a slightly different role has allowed me to excel in my work and I have been able to use my knowledge in the retail environment and put them to use on a grand scale of warehousing, while also building and expanding my current skills and abilities. Jan 2019 - Sept 2019
      Student Intern

Completing an internship program with the Carlton Football Club, as part of the Community Education Programs Team for 2019 and delivering the Carlton Respects program. My role included going out to primary and secondary schools in the northern corridor of Melbourne and delivering the Carlton Respects Program to grade 5-6 students and Year 7-8 students. It was not limited to this however, as I attended Carlton AFLW match days and Carlton AFL match days to continue to roll out Carlton Respects and assist in any game day activation.I was also given the opportunity to complete a special project which is the to Scale-Up the Carlton Respects Program. This entailed producing a skeleton plan for scaling the Carlton Respects Program to a state-wide level. Delivering Carlton Respects state-wide would produce a greater impact with the community as well as increased brand awareness. During my time as part of the Community Educations Program Team, I successfully achieved the following goals;- Deliver Carlton Respects to 4,000 students in Melbourne's northern corridor by September 20, 2019 - Achieve an average of 8.0 as a satisfaction rate for the Carlton Respects program- Achieve an average of 10% increase on key learning outcomes from pre-to-post evaluations- Successfully deliver Carlton Respects at 10 Carlton home games Show less
