      • Managed multiple work centers and supervised 250 personnel in the maintenance of hydraulic components, catapults, and arresting gear on board a U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier.• Inspected and lubricated launch and recovery equipment; replaced packing and seals on catapults and arresting gear; rigged and installed barricades. • Scheduled and coordinated over 150,000 planned maintenance actions on arresting gear and arresting gear engines utilizing maintenance cards, technical manuals and maintenance directives. Managing and coordinating the Testing, Cyber Security, Safety, Risk Assessments, Peer Reviews and ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate and ready for Quality Assurance Review prior to ship delivery for Five Projects.o Preparing Quarterly Audits to ensure that all processes are being completed in accordance with local instructions and directives. o Coordinate and monitor weekly meetings to keep meetings on track and moving forward. The Fleet Support Team responds to emails and CAREPS generated by the Fleet while the System Engineering Team responds to issues from DLA and proactive management of parts. These teams are responsible for the Integrated Bridge Navigation System (IBNS) and Ships Propulsion Control System (SPCS) for obsolescence and part management. Tracking issues utilizing the System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) Database and the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) Tracker Database. Have closed over 143 SPIRs for the Fleet Support Group. Developed Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Process, Flow Charts for Ship Change Document (SCD) and ILS Certification Process. Show less • Researches obsolescence issues utilizing numerous web sites and data bases to indentifying solutions, prepare Technical Data Packages, and make recommendations to the In Service Engineering Activity for validation. Research identified substitute parts, alternate sources as well as parts not being obsolete, avoided a total cost of over $100,000,000.00 to the Navy.• Interprets data gathered from various logistics data sources and databases, to accurately assess logistic impacts of possible obsolescence issues. Experience using the following databases/sources: CDMD-OA, Logiquest, Excel, OMIS, DMSMS Tracker, WEBFLISS, ILSMART, and DOD EMALL.• Tracks over 8,000 individual parts from case opened to resolution to case closed.
