  Being employed by the estate in such a physically demanding job I have learnt to be dedicated and reliable in my role. Working as part of a team I always give my all, every day at work in order to not let my colleagues down and jeopardise the completion tasks. Hard work and reliability meant I became a stable member of the team and led to me being given more leadership responsibilities. These entail being in charge of a team and keeping them informed throughout the day, as well as feeding information back and forth between my manager and team.   Work experience

  Here I spent one week shadowing an employee of this pharmaceutical company, she worked in the farm animal section of the business. I attended and participated in small seminars with customers of the company that were intended to inform on the most effective way to use some of the products. Engaging with the experts and customers during this time allowed me to expand my knowledge of the products, the issues that they dealt with and also the business and roles within it.

  Work experience

  During this work experience placement I assisted a Key Stage 1 teacher with her daily duties for two, separate weeks. I quickly became observant and attentive to the children's needs and responsible enough to take charge of the class in some situations.

  During my time at The Crown I had two roles. I worked as a Kitchen Assistant meaning I quickly got used to working in a high pressure environment and learnt how to think on my feet whilst staying calm and level-headed during busy periods. I also had to stay organised and tidy, and developed my time-keeping skills significantly I also worked as a cleaner where I had to pay attention to detail and work methodically to get everything done in time, but still ensure high standards in my work Show less
