  • Working on a scientifically diverse project which requires a deep intellectual curiosity in order to tackle unfamiliar and challenging tasks.• Developing ergonomic and fast numerical algorithms which were crucial to the main research theme of the team, leading to more efficient work for all. These were written with MATLAB and, mostly, with Python and were based of partial differential equations.• Data analysis and interpretation (including regression and statistical analysis) of data sets from experimental and theoretical measurements using Python, MATLAB, OriginLab and Excel. The complex multi-dimensional results had to be presented (using PowerPoint) on a regular basis to an audience in a simple manner to convey the main conclusions.• Monte-Carlo simulations to predict results from processes with naturally occurring disorder and stochastic behaviour.• Multi-tasking between different research projects, whilst writing reports with tight deadlines.• Developing experimental methods and in depth scientific research on several interdisciplinary subjects to publish written work on international scientific journals.• Scientific dissemination and network at conferences and symposiums, including oral and poster presentations.
