  When living in France, I taught two French children, a girl aged 11 and a boy aged 12 in English once a week. It was my responsibility to encourage them to be excited about learning a new language and make them feel comfortable speaking English. We practiced the language through games, physical activity and playing. I based every lesson on the coursebook from their school to match what they were currently learning.

  I worked as a barista at Starbucks in Terminal 2. I got experience in how to communicate with people from all over the world, work under pressure as well as stay calm and always offer a good service. Communication with colleagues and customers was in Danish, Swedish, English and French.

  I worked in an interiors concept store in Tufnell Park, London. Besides being a sales assistant, I also did a bit of photography and writing for the company's social media platforms as well as making cappuccinos and iced coffees for our customers from the coffee scooter in the courtyard.

  I taught English at a training center in Chongwenmen, Beijing. I taught all levels: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Business English. My students came from different provinces of China and varied in age and background: I taught nurses, high school students, journalists, housewives, businessmen, university students among many others. My youngest students were 5 years old and my oldest were retired. I taught private classes, salon classes and ran three presentations every week.

  I taught G9, G10, G11 and G12 in IGCSE English as a foreign language, IELTS and Oral English at the Cambridge International High School located at UIBE in Beijing. I also interviewed potential new students, invigilated most of the written exams and was in charge of all the oral English exams.
