      Responsibility for the operational management of the award winning Salt Ayre Leisure Centre in LancasterAfter a recent £5m Council investment, I was responsible for the transformation of the facility mix, the cultural change for all the staff and ensured that the centre was operating commercially as well as delivering social value. Salt Ayre Leisure Centre now comprises of 4 court sports hall, dance studio, 3 storey indoor play area, extensive catering offer, 18 feature indoor climbing facility, 100+ station, state of the art fitness suite, functional training room, Immersive cycling studio. We have recently added a high end Spa with a thermal journey and treatment rooms along with an activity hub and Toning table suite.Salt Ayre also boasts a 33 metre pool, with moveable boom and floor. Outdoor facilities consist of an 8 lane floodlight athletics track, a 1500m lit cycle track and Europe’s first flight tower - GravityI had responsibility for a The Active Lives Team that is commissioned by Lancashire County Council's Public Health Team to improve activity and health weightI was also a key member of the Council's major events team that has seen Royal visits, the Olympic Torch Relay and The International Youth Games where we took large groups of young people abroad to take part in sports competitions and cultural exchanges.One of my Council roles was that of Duty Emergency Incident Officer as part of the Council’s Civil Contingency plan. Supporting the districts affected residents during floods, managing incidents with our Blue Light colleagues and the recovery phases as part of the Council’s efforts.I hold a personal alcohol licence and was the Premisies licence holder for Salt Ayre Leisure Centre.
