      Thesis using Professor Carol Bacchi's "What is the Problem Represented to be?" methodology applied to the National Governments' education policy choices of 2008-2017.

      My first careers revolved around service in the RAF and the Police Force. Some 'glamour jobs' before I decided to reach further, educationally, and pursue a degree.

      Jan 1992 - Oct 2005
      Retail Manager through to Vice President, South Pacific.

      Variety of area management roles in hospitality, oil, and supermarkets. This included living in Fiji for 2 years as a deputy General Manager, and being VP for an American company. A board room takeover closed several regional operations, including my own, and this led me to reappraise where I wanted to take my life. Teaching was my answer.

With change management as a primary responsibility, introduced Visible Learning processes to the school and increased the level of student expectations, feedback, student agency, and teaching practices, aligning school processes with the need for a student centred/teacher directed culture.       'Person most likely to succeed' award. McDonalds Apr 1989 This award actually gave me a boost when I most needed it! At McDonalds 'University' in London where I did the Basic Operations Course for managers as a part time worker whilst funding my degree studies.
