  I am currently an Administrative Assistant in Area South Patrol at the Chicago Police Department. I provide administrative support for the daily operations within Area South Deputy Chief's office. I assist the Deputy Chief with the necessary tools needed to run daily operations. My job consists of various tasks such as preparing and coordinating daily and monthly reports, maintaining the Deputy Chief's schedule and meetings, conducting yearly furloughs, preparing district supervisors coverage assignment schedules, acting as liaison for units within and outside the department, training personnel in administrative duties, acting as liaison for the Aldermen, maintaining sensitive files, addressing citizens’ complaints, disseminating pertinent information to personnel, assisting with operational procedures, addressing issues and concerns of department personnel, assisting the districts/units with the necessary resources needed to conduct daily operations, reviewing criminal and non-criminal reports, etc. With my extensive background in law enforcement and business administration, I am able to utilize my law enforcement expertise, exceptional analytical skills and strong leadership qualities to assist department personnel.
