    • Innovación Vida

      Nov 2008 - now

About our name“Innovación Vida” are the Spanish words for “Life Innovation” which speaks about our desire to innovate people’s lives by taking the best of their personal culture and adapt it to the culture of America. The life of the Hispanic community within the American society is often accompanied by various emotions and difficult situations these people must face. The barriers to progress and to their personal development are that of a new language, customs, and the culture of the U.S. This has resulted in a number of limitations in the mind of every newcomer, and even in those who already have spent more time living in the U.S. According to the Census statistics; the State of Illinois now has Hispanics constituting 47.8% of the population. This count includes Mexicans, Central Americans and South Americans. The Hispanic community has distinguished itself by developing major commercial activity wherever they live. Yet for reasons of culture, learning and educational opportunities, Hispanics frequently live in segregation. Innovacion Vida assists, trains, and gives the necessary tools for a better performance within the American society. New immigrants gain the knowledge of American society and customs so they can integrate better. This is done through seminars, courses, workshops and conferences, as well as personal coach. We have extensive experience in education, training, program development, team building, and event planning. Show less

    • Latinas in Finances

      Jan 2022 - now
      Founder & Author

We are not seeing ourselves represented in the important financial conversations. Per the Economic Policy Institute, in 2020 only 10% of Latinas are represented under management, business and finances versus 18% of white women. Discrimination and bias-based on race, ethnicity, sex, and migration status have intersected to funnel Latinas into lower-paying occupation and to deny them fair wages for their work.Latinas in Finances is a collaboration of women that share their personal stories of success and their falls in relationship with finances. Hear from Latinas in the financial field, enthusiastic to motivate our community and generations to come. This is not just a book but a movement aiming to build generational wealth and to increase the percentage of Latinas in Finances. With Latinas in Finances, the best is yet to come! Show less
