  Planned major maintenance overhaul and shutdown activities. Forecast maintenance activities on a weekly and annual basis. Scoped resourcing, scheduling and managing the quality of major overhauls and routine maintenance to maximise tool time and reduce costs. Created shutdown project plans using MS Project and created work packs for maintenance crews. Undertook material management ordering and tracking. Scheduled work utilising JDE (Oracle Based CMMS system) and Microsoft Project 10. Prepared daily visual display boards and chaired maintenance meetings. Provided strategy support to supervisors including creation and amendment of asset activities. Ensured continuous improvement through analysis of work pack feedback, root cause analysis of problems/defects during execution utilising cause and effect analysis and interactive questioning. Also, coordination of post overhaul reviews to ensure lessons learnt are built into future overhauls. Condition monitoring oil samples monitored to ensure possible premature failures were actioned and addressed immediately. Built and maintained strong relationships within the maintenance team.
