  I was part of a team which had to redirect the flow of an ash pond, as to decommission a faulty effluent pipe, and install a new effluent pipe with new spillway and pipe. I carried out the day to day operations of relocating the KPDES/NPDES outfall. I was responsible for management of staff and job requirements for each day, liaison to subcontractors coming onsite to perform work. This involved conducting regular inspections, assessing various safety hazards, and determining the likelihood of an accident occurring. I was also responsible for compliance of outfall monitoring with operation of pumps, pond level measurements, and river side maintenance. Conducted daily HSE Meetings/Trainings and schedule as needed. LOTO, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, Hot Work, Respiratory Protection, BBP, etc. Observed all HSE regulations, wore all required safety equipment, encouraged safe working practices, corrected obvious hazards immediately or reported them to the proper personnel. Construction Management Work - I was responsible for supervising the excavation and containment of suspected contaminated soil and water, during the addition phases, to a stadium expansion. This included health and safety compliance, equipment allocation, scheduling, decontamination of equipment, storage of soils and water and maintaining the records of the daily activities.
