  I completed an analysis comparing theoretical versus applied content courses in an 8-week intensive versus a 16-week course time frame in automotive technology. It was found that there is not a statistically different grade in theoretical courses, but applied courses have a statistically higher grade in a shorter time frame format.

  I am an Associate Professor in the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science at the Lafayette Region. I teach everything in our automotive curriculum and some of the heavy truck curriculum. I also perform student advising, course management and development, student job placement assistance, and employer relationship building. It is my priority to find the right student to fit our industry's needs.
