  Research Internship

  Project focused, research internship working with Dr. Harro van Asslet, and the SEI Oxford staff. The majority of my work was carried out in the context of a NORD-STAR (Nordic Strategic Adaptation Research) project. This research project aimed to study mainstreaming efforts in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden in order to examine the extent to which climate change considerations are being taken into account in the provision of development assistance.In addition to working on the NORD-STAR project, I contributed to a project concerned with mapping and assessing climate change mitigation policy. For this project, I examined a set of data sources with information about climate change mitigation policy which was used for assessing the current state of mitigation policies.I also worked on the weADAPT project which is an adaptation knowledge brokering platform the SEI Oxford staff has developed over the last seven years. I contributed in the knowledge management of the platform, performing tasks such as editing, structuring and uploading content. Show less

Show less In my role as Assistant Engagement Manager / Operations Assistant I split my time between managing the Tea 2030 online community, working across the whole value chain to make the global tea industry more sustainable and improving our internal operations.My main achievements in this role were the development of a whole new knowledge management system for the delivery team, along with restructuring our recruitment and induction processes whilst managing the Tea 2030 community; organizing online events, communicating with members and helping them solve sustainability challenges through collaboration.
