After quitting telecommunications engineering degree, I was really burnt out and did not want to study software engineering, I simply was not mentally prepared for another four years of the typical education. Ironhack gave me a lot of knowledge but it also made me want to study more again, I have always been really curious and I have learnt a lot of things by myself, but the educational system in Spain, at least on a college level, made me be really reluctant to continue studying because I thought It was the only option to acquire a job Show less

  Telecommunications engnineering is a wide field containing small but dense fields such as electromagnetism, electronic systems, signals... All these fields are extremely demanding in terms of time and effort when studying and there was a point where I realized that the only thing I liked about the degree was programming, and to be more precise OOP (Object Oriented Programming).
