Deskside support for Pikes Peak project during their remodel to increase their help desk area. Supervised and trained two contractors during the project who took over once remodel was complete. Continue working with developers and other QA team members to test native application running on Mac, Windows and iPad operating systems. - Assist developers in researching detection of virtual environments and distinguishing between virtual and native. Continually test virtual machine detection. Assist with researching/testing/supporting security software like encryption and new antivirus.- Responsible for validating upcoming operating system releases and identifying new features that will have an unfavorable interaction with the application being tested. Work with developers to support/block new operating system features. Validate new operating system compatibility and work with Product owner to add as a supported operating system. - Research new hardware coming to market and validate new hardware security feature functionality with the desktop application. Work with IT to purchase necessary devices for testing. Manage the inventory of testing devices using asset tracking application. Perform general maintenance on devices to stay within supported MSRs. - Validate tickets in Jira while following the product roadmap. These tickets include both bug fixes and new features. Ensure new features are tested to the appropriate extent and document the results. Once new features are done QA testing, create test cases in TestRail for future regressions.- Responsible for training new team members along with managing overseas contractors. Demo new features for contractors and ensure comprehension of use. Work with contractors and their IT to ensure necessary operating system/hardware coverage.When remote work began; arranged a weekly meeting with other QA members to ensure open communication between the different projects.
