  * Created an Image process using integrated task sequence from MDT 2010 and OSD. Created a Win Install scripted build base image after manually installing Windows 7 Enterprise. Created make/model customizations in the MDT database. Created packages to install the base software for each model. Drivers and/or utilities that were make/model specific. Utilized USMT to backup user files and settings. Customized Windows PE to add extra functionality to the basic wim that comes with SCCM/OSD* Performed a Side-by-Side upgrade of SMS 2003 to SCCM 2007 R2. Migrated from using WSUS as the default patch management application to using SCCM’s Software Update Point (SUP) role. Moved 1 site boundary at a time from SMS to SCCM and then pushed the new client out to the machines. Help to create a process to remove stale machines from showing up in SCCM. Implemented OSD for future development and deployment cases. Changed the secondary sites to Branch Distribution Points.* Diagnosed Cluster Failover/Connectivity issues in a Hyper-V/SCVMM environment. Performed in place upgrades to Server 2008 Core to SP2 which resolved some of the issues, but not all. After some planning, performed a rolling upgrade to Server 2008. This involved moving all of the guest OS’s off one server, removing it from the cluster, Installing Server 2008 R2 from scratch and creating a new cluster. Performed a full upgrade with minimal downtime for the client.* Installed and customized SCE using a remote SQL server. Created customized tasks to perform instant tasks; such as, force update installation now vs. at a scheduled time. Created a script to remedy duplicate SUS Client ID’s due to the environments current ghosting process. Provided information on EMCO’s Remote Installation to provide the administration team with the ability to easily uninstall software from all machines currently connected to the network. Show less
