  My articles of clerkship comprise of four (4) rotations in different fields of law within CDH.First Rotation (January 2019 - June 2019): Dispute Resolution / Commercial LitigationCommercial litigation with a specific focus on real estate, contractual, mining and delictual disputes. My duties included, among others, drafting legal opinions advising corporate clients on shareholder disputes, the National Credit Act, Consumer Protection Act, and other legislation, drafting Magistrate and High Court pleadings and briefing Advocates on various matters.Second Rotation (July 2019 - December 2019): Labour Law / EmploymentLabour litigation advising leading mining companies and financial institutions on their labour law related disputes. My duties included arguing preliminary points during CCMA arbitrations; drafting CCMA and Labour Court applications; drafting legal opinions advising corporate clients on the Labour Relations Act, Employment Equity and Basic Conditions of Employment Act. Third Rotation (January 2020 - June 2020): Corporate & Commercial (including Finance & Banking)Corporate and Commercial Law department, with exposure to Finance and Banking. My duties include drafting shareholders and board resolutions, conducting legal research mainly on the Companies Act of 2008, drafting corporate an agreements, including Ordinary Share Subscription Agreements and Cession Agreements (to mention a few) and general company secreterial work like registering companies and drafting MOI's.Fourth Rotation (July 2020 - December 2020)For my fourth rotation, I was not allocated to a specific department within CDH, instead I was Seconded to Liquid Telecommunications to work on their restructure in terms section 189 of the Labour Relations Act, 1995.
