  Process engineering Co-Op that worked with Excel VBA to create an automatic downtime recording sheet for the manufacturing lines. Used Auto-CAD to create and fabricate a hose clamp for the glue station. Received Yellow Belt and six sigma training. Worked collaboratively with other Co-Ops to create a prototype end rail storage container.

  Was selected for a two week study abroad trip to Ireland through the college of Biomedical Engineering. Purdue competed in a design challenge with groups from Dublin through a company called Enable Ireland. My partner and I had two weeks to come up with a rapid prototype solution to meet the need of a specific individual in the Dublin community who had a certain limitation. My partner and I won the competition against other Purdue students and Dublin students. Throughout the two weeks our group traveled Ireland and met with a variety of biomedical companies. Show less

  Intern with the Exercise Countermeasures group that used OpenSim simulation software to model real-life exercises using exercise equipment prototypes. Utilized Matlab to conduct simulations of OpenSim models to create a more efficient testing procedure. Conducted sensitivity analysis of the OpenSim models and will be a co-author in three journals to be published.
