Field work included a team-based survey and interpretation work in the historic mineralisation districts of Cornwall, SW England. I have also completed an intensive course on environmental radiochemistry, taught by leading experts from GAU Analytical Labs., providing a strong background to radiological monitoring, protection and contaminated land remediation.My dissertation project studied igneous cumulates from Tenerife, using minor and trace element geochemistry to interpret magma chamber processes. I was also introduced to several aspects of mineral exploration projects such as drill-hole planning, exploration license management and environmental stewardship.
