- Awarded to Mark NechodomCreekside Chats on Ecosystem Management Bureau of Land Management, California State Office Sep 1997 I led a year-long series of facilitated workshops focused on the practical implications of ecosystem management for federal land management agencies. Way back in the '90s, this was something of a new concept, a different way of understanding resource management issues, and a far more integrated way of delivering public service. BLM created an award and honored me by inviting me subsequently to develop more specific courses through my program at UC Davis Extension.
