Some of these projects were based in Christchurch and were subject to additional Christchurch design requirements. Designs dependent on computer modeling were completed utilizing SpaceGass.       1.) Project: NZ Military Upgrades. As Engineering Programme Manager, oversaw the completion of 30+ project upgrades to 7 different military sites throughout both the North and South islands of New Zealand, overseeing 5 project managers in completing this work. Upgrades included seismic retrofitting, building of new barracks, replacement of piers. Budget: $0.9 million NZD.2.) Project: Te Papa Facility Upgrades. As Engineering Programme Manager, oversaw 7 different project managers tasked with completing a wide variety of upgrades to the many facilities of New Zealand’s national museum. Upgrades included seismic retrofitting, replacement of elevators, replacement of lighting, complete replacement of HVAC systems, fireproofing of warehouses, redesign of office spaces. Budget: $44 million NZD over 4 years. 3.) Project: Wellington City Courtroom Upgrades. As Project Manager, oversaw a series of upgrades to the country’s capital main courtroom building. Upgrades included seismic strengthening, replacement of windows, and upgrades to the exterior. 4.) Project: Auckland University of Technology Mixed-Use Building. As Project Manager, worked alongside the architecture team to ensure that designs were delivered on time and within budget. This building was a state-of-the-art science research center, providing both classrooms and laboratory rooms. Show less 1.) Project: Developed entirely new workflow at Napier branch. By leaning on market analysis and liaising with appropriate stakeholders (architects, land developers, builders) assisted in pivoting local branch to capture significant market share for residential home/commercial design and associated work. By solely fostering and growing this revenue stream, moved into project management, distributing and overseeing work as needed amongst structural, land surveying, and architectural teams. Budget: Workflow ballooned quickly to be multiple $100,000s NZD per year.2.) Project: Flaxmere College Building Demolition and Rebuild. Managed multi-disciplinary team (geotechnical, architectural, civil, electrical, mechanical, structural, HVAC) to remove and redesign a major building of learning at Flaxmere College.
