  2009 - 2010 – Counter Intelligence AnalystProvided Counter Intelligence and Security advice in support to 160 Brigade covering the entire Wales area of responsibility.Liaison with a wide range of community partnership groups and other Government agencies across the Wales area. Assisting in the protection of all military assets in Wales from the threat of espionage, terrorism and subversive activity. 2006 – 2008: Operational Intelligence Analyst Required to research, analyse and report on data of a highly sensitive nature. Profound knowledge of the National Intelligence Model and had to produce numerous verbal and written intelligence products to demanding deadlines and stringent criteria. Deployed to Afghanistan with 16 Air Assault Brigade in March 2008 for a 6 month deployment.During this deployment I was involved in supporting Brigade and Battle Group operations in my capacity as an Intelligence operator.This involved the production and delivery of intelligence and country briefs to a wide audience including senior military staff officers. The analysis of trends and links to establish patterns and networks of terrorist and insurgent groups. Other duties included liaison with Coalition and UK military and civilian agencies and departments including tasking of multi-national assets to gather relevant products. Show less
