I have to manage large quantities of financial data on a daily basis. This requires me to utilise my ability to manage my time efficiently between duties and prioritise where necessary. •My average day consists of raising sales invoices, sending this across to the client and then posting into the correct sales ledgers. I also have to accurately process large volumes of accounts payable invoices and credit notes.•Recording all cash activity on a daily basis and preparing cash journals so that all items are recorded in the correct accounting periods. This means having to accrue where necessary and reverse accurately using journals on a monthly basis.•Monitoring customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payments. I will then have to follow up any outstanding payments with an email and a phone call as reminder and ensure payment is received.•I have been further developing my ability in Sage Line 50 and Excel as a result of working with 4 different companies. I have to create and maintain spreadsheets to assist me with keeping an up-to-date log of the intercompany transactions, accruals, prepayments and deferred income. This has advanced my keyboard skills and ability to input and manipulate financial data.
