Responsibilities included gathering event decorations, setting up and breaking down the event space, safely handling food and drinks; while ensuring the guests had a fun and memorable party room experience. As well as, assisting the birthday child if they had any special requests.       Assisting weddings all within the DMV area showcased how much goes into executing a wedding. Communication is key with the other vendors in order to follow the timeline, interacting with the guest and ensuring their questions are being answered as well as, creating a stress free day for the couple. Having an eye for details, design work and other visual layouts were key to being successful. Platforms that were used when sending out the Alyssa Thomas Event Monthly Newsletters consisted of understanding Mailchimp and designing on Canva. As I planned, designed and sent out the Newsletter I kept in mind of our target audience and overall goals.
