  My learning experience encompassed gaining insights into different processes involved in apparel manufacturing including product development, buying & sourcing and merchandising functions. Project:Introducing the efficacious 5s lean tool across both the sampling and merchandising departments, did a pilot run which effectively resulted in saving costs for product development while simultaneously ensuring streamlined dispatch of samples.

  Graduation Project:Predictive Analytics to Sales Forecasting in Fashion Industry. Optimizing merchandise mix and stock selection by creating a sales forecasting model. The project focused on ‘supervised learning’ and 'regression model'. A total of 6 models were used, out of which the best was selected on the basis of 6 evaluation matrices. The model gave us a baseline for the quantity of inventory that will be converted into sales for future reference.Responsibilities :Handled Turkish clothing brands exclusively for major Indian e-commerce platforms by working on style selection, product mix according to Indian Market and inventory management.
