      Trained and supervised maintenance personnel. Named a Collateral Duty Inspector on 50 F/A-18 aircraft as an E-3. Performed troubleshooting, removed and replaced defective components, including sheet metal fabrication, riveting, patching, composite repair and painting of aircraft panels and doors. Received “Letters of Recommendation” for my many accomplishments as a leader and supervisor of my shop while assigned to VMFAT 101

      NAS Miramar Part of a successful Start-up team for McDonnell-Douglas Aerospace Services Company at Topgun, Navy Fighter Weapons School. Created and implemented entire Tool Control Program at Topgun in support of 16 F/A-18 and 6 F-14 aircraft maintained by 120 mechanics. Navy inspection teams during the Unit Contractor’s Maintenance evaluation in March 1996 recognized this program. Performed maintenance as airframes mechanic. Routinely called upon for the “Hard to Fix” jobs. Recognized for my skills and hard work I was promoted from Aircraft Servicer (1 month) to Aircraft Worker (4 months) and then to Aircraft Mechanic.NAS FallonAssigned to the Phase Workcenter, contributed to goal to integrate the F-5, F-14, F/A-18 and SH-60 Phase maintenance into one Work center. Successfully coordinated the Phases performed on the mention aircraft. Reviewed the Aircraft Discrepancy Books (ADB’s) and Aircraft Logbooks for TD incorporation and checked the MRC’s for applicability to each specific type model aircraft. Successfully cross-trained and was an inspector for F-5 Hydraulics, Structures, Landing Gear and Flight Controls and received F/A-18 Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR) Airframes and Powerplants designation while assigned to Phase.
